I am new to volleyball. How can I learn to play?

If you are completely new to volleyball and don't know how to play, you can learn the basics here (May to find content on volleyball tutorials on YouTube or create Discord Channel). If you already know how to play but aren't sure you know what
you're doing or just want to improve, we highly recommend our popular Adult Beginner’s Class. See our full schedule for details here (Link to Meetup LUV Page).

I signed up for event. What do I need to know?

Congratulations on registering for your first event! The organizer provides the net, game ball and scoreboard. Please dress in loose gym attire, water bottle and a healthy attitude. Kneepads and your own game ball are optional. Please be on time or make sure to contact the organizer if you can't make it. Classes start on time and if you’re late, it delays the instructions and interrupts the class. Please be considerate. Same day cancellations and no-shows are penalized the event fee.

How do I know what level I am - Beginner, Intermediate, or Advance?

Organizations rate players differently. Sometimes it can be frustrating or unclear depending on what state or town you are in, years of experience playing, or the associations you’ve played in e.g. club, collegiate, beach league, league, recreationally at
the park, etc. We developed our guide to help understand the different levels (link to excel sheet).
